About me

Currently I am working as a research assistant in the TEM lab at the OUC, in a project "LIFE IP Physis - Managing the NATURA 2000 network in Cyprus and Shaping a sustainable future".

I hold a BSc in Geography and Russistics from University of Ljubljana. I wrote a Bachelor thesis entitled "Geographical aspects of decreasing numbers of selected giraffe subspecies". I hold an MSc in Physical & Environmental Geography and Applied Geoinformatics from the University of Ljubljana. I wrote a Master thesis entitled "European bison potential habitat prediction for reintroduction in Slovenia", where I focused on the problematic of species reintroduction and their management. My research interest focuses on biodiversity loss, species reintroduction, wildlife management, habitat prediction and ecosystem services.
